We're just normal people looking to grow our family. Thank you so much for considering us! Our daughter Tegan is really really REALLY excited about becoming a big sister.
Brooke and I (Chad) have been together for 11 years. We met when Brooke, while looking for furniture for her apartment, responded to an online bulletin board message that I posted. I don't think either of us expected it to turn into more. But soon after we had our first date at a flea market christmas shopping!
We dated for 18 months and got engaged the day we bought our first home together. We've been married for over 8 years and have a 6 year-old daughter, Tegan. She's really excited about being a big sister and often asks when she'll have a baby brother or sister!
Life doesn't always work out like you expect. After Tegan was born we had hoped to continue growing our family but soon discovered that would not be a possibilty. Not to be deterred, we looked to other options and were amazed at the support from family and friends on this topic. I had no idea how many members of my family came from adoption.
With the amazing support from family and friends it was easy to choose adoption.
As parents, we will love your child unconditionally and raise them in a nurturing environment, surrounded with love, kindness and support. Thank you so much for considering us!
Brooke is caring and nurturing with an amazing understanding and respect for the world we live in (Biologist). She is an incredible mother to Tegan. She loves to do arts and crafts and read with her. Brooke likes working in the garden, exercising, reading and book clubs, and cooking with Chad for the family.
Chad (Software Developer) is kind and thoughtful with a great imagination and sense of adventure. He is an amazing dad. He loves building Lego creations with Tegan and playing in the yard with her. Chad enjoys building projects in his workshop, complex board games with friends, computer games, grilling and using his smoker to prepare delicious feasts for family and friends, and working outdoors.
Our daughter, Tegan, is 6 years old and is about to start first grade this year. She likes drawing, singing, dancing, jumping on the trampoline, climbing trees, and playing games. We strive to make sure she has all the opportunities to succeed and love how she excels in school. Whenever we see younger children, Tegan is drawn to them and often wants to help them out or play with them. She can't wait to be a big sister!
